Helping your message reach your audience.
Hi, I’m Bethanie. A freelance content writer, author and Early Years educator.
You have come across my website, I presume, because you are in the market for a content writer? You are looking for someone to put pen to paper, (more like fingers to keys but that doesn’t have the same ring to it, does it?) and bring your website, print and ideas to life.
With over ten years experience working in the early years sector, three children of my own, as well as author to two parenting books and creator of children’s diaries aimed specifically at walking with kids and creating those amazing family memories, I have been on both sides of the proverbial coin. From working with brands and local councils, to recording content for book festivals and interviewing mothers, I have worked with a spectrum of businesses as I have built my writing portfolio. Now, I want to use that experience to help you.
I have sourced the best walking gear for kids. I have thumbed through the early years magazines and signed up to emails for creative next steps. I have taken part in seminars for promoting books on Amazon and on how to reach a wider audience. I have been that target audience, meaning I can write content (or create digital content) for you and your business, with a deep understanding of what it is your audience need.
Take a look at my “Work with me” page, to see the projects I have already worked on and to find out how exactly I can help your business grow and reach a wider audience. Or perhaps you are just looking for someone to take on those tasks you really don’t enjoy, but know they are important in creating that brand image you are developing.
A bit about me…
Mum to three, along with my husband and the cat, we live in beautiful Northumberland, but I grew up in the Cotswolds after moving from Yorkshire when I was six. (Yes, we moved around a bit in those early years.)
Aside from writing, I love to walk in the Lake District, have family games nights, travel and read (when the children allow of course).
I have self published books since 2019 and the big dream is to one day have a book published by one of the big five publishers.
I am an easy going and approachable person, so happy to answer any questions or queries you may have prior to working together. My preferred method of communication is a chat on the phone but if email is more your jam, or perhaps you are a Tweeter or Instagram DM’er, you can find me there too.
